Hey there,
Do you know what one of the most common questions we get at Skalegrow while discussing SEO-led content is? You probably guessed it from the title: it is the frequency of creating and publishing blog posts.
The answer to this really depends on how aggressive you want to be with your marketing efforts. In general, the higher the number of blog posts, the better, as long as you are able to maintain the quality of content in every piece.
But let us look at it from a practical point of view. Nobody has infinite resources to write too many articles. Neither do we want to use ChatGPT (or any other AI writing assistant) too much for creating content.
So what’s the golden number of blog posts you should aim to publish every month?
In our opinion, you should start with a minimum of 1 blog post a week (or 4 a month). At this pace, you would write 52 blog posts a year, which is a decent number when your objective is to generate some traffic to the website. This is great in the early days of your business, given that it is important to get into the momentum of consistently publishing content rather than occasional outbursts.
Now, if you want to be more aggressive with your SEO and wish to achieve results faster, go with 2 blog posts a week (or 8 a month). If you use the right keywords and publish quality content, this increases your chances of getting traffic and leads organically through your website.
If you want to take it to the next level and be among the top 1% in your industry in terms of creating SEO-led content, go with 3 a week. We have even seen B2B businesses that publish 4 or 5 articles a week. That however is best suited for businesses that have multiple product lines and industries to serve.
That’s all for the week. Hope you loved the content.
